Editorial Team

The Journal of Indo-Pacific Archaeology editorial board will play an important role in ensuring the quality and authenticity of the journal’s publications, including but not limited to advice on:

  • Whether a submission appears to be a novel contribution;
  • Whether any data associated with the submission are trustworthy and sufficient to substantiate the submission’s claims and conclusions;
  • Whether the sources implicit in the submission’s text and/or supporting data are adequately acknowledged;
  • Appropriate referees for the submission;
  • Appropriate steps for the journal editors to take in case of any dispute between the authors and referees;
  • Whether an allegation of misconduct should be considered substantiated.
