Abstract
"The volume here presented is the outgrowth of a course in Northwest History which has been conducted for several years at the State Normal School, Cheney, Washington. It is similar in spirit and purpose to the Northwestern History Syllabus contributed to this Quarterly... and the List of References on the History of the West... The present Outline goes into greater detail of topics and bibliography for the state of Washington than either of the two previous publications and has the advantage of being more recent."
