"The Library Association of Portland has recently obtained a rare edition of Suckley and Cooper's Natural History of Washington Territory and Oregon… published in 1859. George Suckley, M.D., and J.G. Cooper, M.D., were scientists attached to the Pacific Railroad Exploration under the direction of Isaac I. Stevens."
