Among emerging technologies, the Internet is the most prominent. The Internet is usually considered the democratizing medium of shared knowledge because its decentralized structure allows anyone to publish and search for any type of information, Nevertheless, many advocates of the Internet often confuse access to information with access to relevant information, We all agree the Internet provides the ideal platform for global access to information, but important issues must be addressed for the Internet to achieve its full potential as a tool for global access, As Brian Pinkerton states, "The World Wide Web is decentralized, dynamic and diverse; navigation is difficult and finding information can be a challenge" (Pinkerton, 1994); And yet there are few tools to integrate and organize related and relevant information from different sources.Downloads
